Description
This front clip dog harness turns tense, tug-of-war walks into calmer outings by placing the leash ring right on your dog's chest. Every time your dog leans forward, the harness gently swings them back toward you, with no pressure on the throat. Padded, reflective and quick to adjust, it's an easy everyday upgrade for dogs who love to pull.
Why a front clip changes the walk
With a classic back-clip harness, a pulling dog simply leans into the chest strap and keeps going. A dog harness with a front clip for no-pull walking works differently: the force of the pull pivots your dog sideways, which takes away the momentum. You stay in control without yanking, and your dog learns that pulling doesn't get them anywhere faster.
Front clip or back clip?
Use the front chest ring for dogs that pull and for training walks. Once your dog walks nicely on a loose leash, you can keep using it for everyday outings, especially in busy streets.
Most dogs adjust within a few walks. Reward your dog each time the leash goes slack, stop when it tightens, and move on again when they come back to your side. The harness does the mechanical part; consistency does the rest.
Comfort for daily walks
The vest-style shape spreads the load over the chest and shoulders rather than the neck. Soft nylon webbing and a padded chest panel keep the harness comfortable on longer walks, and the top handle lets you hold your dog close when crossing a road or meeting another dog.
Seen in low light
Reflective trim runs along the straps so your dog stands out in car headlights and under street lamps. It's a simple safety plus for winter mornings, evening walks and cloudy days.
Built for everyday use
This front clip harness is designed for daily walks rather than heavy-duty work. For powerful dogs that lunge hard or for dogs who chew their gear, choose a reinforced tactical model and keep the harness out of reach when it's not in use. Hand wash it with mild soap and let it air dry to keep the buckles and reflective trim in good shape.

Finding the right size

Why it works
Why you'll love it
Front clip that redirects pulling
The leash ring sits on the chest, so each pull gently turns your dog back toward you instead of letting them power forward.
-
No pressure on the throat
A vest-style design spreads the load across the chest and shoulders, a calmer alternative to walking on a collar.
-
Reflective trim all around
Reflective strips catch headlights and street lamps, a welcome extra on early-morning and evening walks.
-
Easy to adjust
Quick-release buckles and sliding adjusters let you fine-tune the fit in seconds, with a top handle for close control.

-
Step 3

Your questions, honest answers
What other pet parents usually ask before choosing.
Will it really stop my dog from pulling?
A front clip doesn't train your dog on its own, but it changes the physics of pulling: when your dog leans into the leash, the chest ring turns them sideways and back toward you. Most owners notice calmer walks quickly, and the result gets better when you pair it with short, regular training sessions and rewards for a loose leash.
What if the size isn't right?
Measure the widest part of your dog's chest and the base of the neck before ordering, and pick the size that matches your measurements. Every strap is adjustable, so you can fine-tune the fit once it's on. A well-fitted harness lets you slide two fingers under any strap. If the size truly doesn't work, you have 14 days to return it unused.
Is it suitable for very strong or reactive dogs?
This harness is designed for everyday walks. For dogs that lunge hard, chew their gear or need heavy-duty control, a sturdier tactical-style harness is a better choice. Always check that the buckles are fully clicked in before you head out. If your dog is reactive, keep the leash short in busy places and work with a trainer if needed.
How do I clean it?
Hand wash it in lukewarm water with a mild soap, rinse well and let it air dry completely before the next walk. Avoid the washing machine and the dryer, which can wear the buckles and the reflective trim. Check the stitching and buckles regularly. A quick rinse after muddy walks is often enough.

Night walks
We walk late after work and the reflective trim is honestly the reason I picked it. Cars see us from way off.Blue / L

Arrived fast, fits great
Got here quicker than expected and the size chart was spot on. Measured her chest, picked M, done.Red / M
-
Solid build
Well made, buckles feel strong and the reflective strips really show up in car headlights. Took a few walks to adjust the straps properly, so give it a bit of time.Blue / XL
-
Does the job
No more shoulder pain on my side. That's the review.Red / XL
-
Good value
For the price this is really good. Padding could be a touch thicker under the chest, but my dog doesn't seem bothered.Blue / XL
-
Great harness. Fits well, reflective trim is a nice touch.

-
Okay for us
Does what it says on the front clip but my dog is very narrow-chested and even at the tightest setting there's some room. Probably great for most dogs, just not the ideal shape for a whippet.Blue / S
Reply from the shop
Thanks for the honest feedback. For very slim, deep-chested dogs the S can stay a bit roomy at the ribs; feel free to contact us if you'd like help choosing an alternative.

Nice color
The red is slightly darker than in the photos, more of a cherry red. Still really nice and the harness itself is great.Red / S
-
Clear sizing
The size guide with the chest measurement was helpful, my dog is right between two sizes and the advice to size up worked.Blue / XL

Honest long review after two months
I was skeptical because every harness promises no pulling. Our 28 kg shepherd mix used to lunge at bikes and I'd come home with a sore shoulder. With the leash on the chest ring, when he lunges he gets turned sideways toward me instead of dragging me forward, so he gives up much faster. We still do training with treats, the harness isn't a miracle, but it gave us the control to actually train. Fit is great on a deep chest, no rubbing.Blue / L
-
Good, but measure first
I ordered M from habit and it was a little snug on the chest for my springer. Exchanged for L and it's perfect now. The front clip works really well for her.Red / L
-
Third one I've bought, one for each of our dogs. Says it all really.

No more coughing
My little terrier used to choke herself on the collar. Moved her to this harness and the coughing on walks is gone. She doesn't seem to mind wearing it at all.Pink / S
-
Easy to clean
Rinsed it in the sink after a beach walk, hung it up, dry by the evening. Still looks new.Pink / L
-
Pulls way less. Happy.

Love the pink! Bright, easy to spot and still looks good after a muddy month.

Rescue dog approved
Our rescue is nervous and hates things going over her head, but the opening is wide enough that it's quick. Two clicks and we're out the door. The front ring helps a lot when she gets spooked and tries to bolt.Blue / M
-
Fits my corgi surprisingly well, which is rare with those short legs and big chest!

Finally one that doesn't rub
Previous harness gave my girl a sore spot behind the front legs. This one sits further forward and no rubbing at all after three weeks.Red / M
-
Size ran small for us
The color is great and it feels sturdy, but the L was tight on my boxer even fully let out. I should have gone XL. Taking one star off for that and one because the exchange took a while on my end.Red / L
-
Handle is super useful
The handle on the back is something I didn't think I'd use and now I use it every day, crossing roads or when another dog walks past. Solid stitching.Red / XL
-
Bought a second one
Kept one in the car and one at home because we kept forgetting it. Same quality both times.Pink / M
-
Walks are finally relaxing
My lab mix used to drag me to every lamppost. With the leash on the front ring he just turns back toward me when he pulls. Not magic, we still practice, but it's a completely different walk.Blue / L
-
Great for a teenager dog
Eight months old, all legs and enthusiasm. Front clip keeps him from zigzagging. Recommend clipping a second leash to the back ring the first few days while they get used to it.Blue / XL
-
Worth it
We tried two other harnesses before this one. This is the first one that actually reduces the pulling instead of just moving it somewhere else. Easy to put on too, over the head and two buckles.Pink / S
